Ann Arbor artist James Noellert brings some friends together to put on a show about getting work done outside of work. Universally disgruntled by creatively unsatisfying employment, the casual band of interdisciplinary head-scratchers hunker down to create a whimsically indulgent exhibition of personal projects.
Along with a large collection of new drawings and paintings from Noellert, Detroit-area photographer Daniel Ribar brings imagery from his close relationship with the wilder parts of northern Michigan, while local legend Tucker Myers shares sharp insights from his regular adventures in Mexico.
Including several special guests from the Ann Arbor-Detroit area, they collaborate on everything from t-shirts to snack bars, resulting in a comfortably incoherent testament to the exponential potential of working together
