Art Matters

The Art Center is important because of its cultural impact.  It’s such a significant part of our community and has quite a presence downtown.  I love the color they bring to that area.  Providing young children lots of opportunity to learn and do art has real appeal.  The Center is full of vitality and pretty things.

30x30 Call for Entries

Support  the Ann Arbor Art Center's Art for Kids Fund and show the community your talent.

This annual event shows off the work of 30 selected artists who will create 30 works of art in 30 days.  All the work will be sold for $40 each in a two-day sale on March 24 & 25, 2012.  Artists receive 50% of the selling price and 50% funds the Art for Kids program.  Artists working in any media are welcome

Artists working in 2D must work on canvases provided by the Art Center which are available in 2 sizes:   8X10" or 12X12".  If you work in another medium, the Art Center will contribute $75 toward your supplies.
