Ann Arbor, MI - August 17, 2011- The Ann Arbor Art Center presents the annual All Media Exhibition a juried exhibition open to artists from throughout the state of Michigan who were invited to submit their work created in any medium for consideration. An opening reception and awards presentation, which is free and open to the public, will be held on September 2 from 6:00-8:00 pm. The exhibition will be on display from September 2 through October 2 in the Art Center’s second floor Exhibitions Galleries.
Awards will be presented to artists displaying exceptional works of art and outstanding technique.
This year’s juror is Rebecca Mazzei, Deputy Director + Special Projects at MOCAD (the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit) Mazzei is the former Assistant Dean of the College for Creative Studies as well as the award-winning arts and culture editor of Metro Times. Prior to her work as editor, Mazzei served for four years as a director at Intuit: the Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art in Chicago.
