PAINT THE TOWN
The Ann Arbor Art Center’s annual fundraising soiree now in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor

EVENT INFORMATION- Saturday, May 12, 2012       

Patron Reception - 5:30 - 6:30 pm
Taste fine wines and culinary creations presented by Vinology Wine Bar and Restaurant’s Chef Jim Leonardo at the Liberty Loft home of Ann Arbor Art Center President/CEO Marsha Chamberlin. Then join the party at the Art Center!

Main Event - 6:00 - 10:00 pm
The evening will begin with a tour of the Ann Arbor Art Center’s galleries, shop and studios.  See artists in action and enjoy live music while you feast on fabulous hors d’oeuvres and an eclectic selection of wines, spirits and crafted beers.

The soiree continues in a giant tent pitched in the Art Center’s “backyard” parking lot.  Swing to the sounds of the 15-piece Rhythm Society Orchestra while you enjoy a different selection of fabulous food and beverages along with raffles, auctions and dancing.

2012 ARTIST INFO- Original Artwork by James Noellert
James, a native to Ann Arbor, has been involved with the Ann Arbor Art Center for longer than even he can remember. After having his first gallery appearance at the Center's annual Potential! exhibition as a Senior at Pioneer, he went on to receive his BFA from the College for Creative Studies, with awards from the school as well as the New York Society of Illustrators. He now works as an illustrator and creative problem solver from his home studio in Ann Arbor.
