POP•X PAVILIONS FOR SALE!

BUY A PAVILION, SUPPORT THE ARTS!

[hr]

After the pavilions house installations for our POP•X artists, each of the nine 10′ by 10′ one of a kind treated wood structures can be added to your own work or play landscape. Use a pavilion as a playhouse, maker space, artist studio, tool shed, greenhouse, or entertaining space, the options are endless!
[hr]

Public interest in ownership of these pavilions has been tremendous and we are eager to find wonderful homes for each of one of them.  So eager, in fact, that we are offering them for sale at $3,500 each, a price well below our total cost of construction and implementation.

Materials

Each pavilion is 10’ x 10’ and will arrive at your destination in panel form, including 4 sides (with one being the barn door), 2 roof panels, a floor and a ramp.  Additional construction components will also arrive with the panels. The pavilion also  includes cement block weights which were approved by the city building inspector to assure the structures would withstand the elements.  You can secure it to the ground if you prefer.

Delivery and Installation

Pricing for delivery and set-up at your location is separate from the pavilion cost. Delivery and installation can be arranged by the Art Center or managed individually by the purchaser. Estimated delivery and assembly cost (depending upon location and construction landscape) is $945.

Purchase

If you would like to like to purchase a pavilion, a 50% non-refundable deposit of $1,750 is required. The balance is due on Sunday, October 25th in order to schedule pick-up and delivery to your location on Monday, October 26th.

First Come, First Served

Pavilions are being offered on a first come, first served basis.  Once all the pavilions are sold, the online payment link will be closed. You are also welcome to come into the Art Center to process your payment in person.

Thanks again for your interest in the POP-X pavilions. We hope you enjoyed your experience at POP-X and we appreciate your support for the Ann Arbor Art Center!  If you have any questions, please contact Megan Winkel, Gallery Director, at 734-926-4130.

About their design:

Kreg Norgaard designed POP•X 2015 pavilions to elegantly be situated in Ann Arbor’s Liberty Plaza with a gabled form and exterior patterns that mimic the tree-spiked city park. While the translucency of structures allows natural light inside the structures during daytime, artificial light illuminates structures in the evening, allowing them to glow as lantern-like beacons that, even in darkness, continue to create an inviting sense of place in Liberty Plaza.
