EXHIBITING ARTWORK

Interested in exhibiting or selling artwork in the Art Consulting program, Exhibition Galleries, or in the Gallery Shop at the Art Center?

The Art Center provides many opportunities for artists to exhibit work. See available exhibition opportunities at right or follow the Artist Submission instructions to be considered.

Submit the following materials to the Ann Arbor Art Center, 117 West Liberty, Ann Arbor, MI 48104, Attn: Artist Submissions.

• Letter of interest indicating which program your work is appropriate for: Art Consulting, Exhibitions, Gallery Shop
• Images of work: slides or CD submissions: - Jpeg images, 150-200 DPI, sized to no larger than 5 inches as longest dimension - Include an index print with thumbnail images labeled with title, dimensions, medium and price for each piece.
• Resume AND Artist Statement
• Self Addressed Stamped Envelope for return of slides (CD-ROMs will become property of the Art Center)

STUDIO ARTIST PROGRAM

Community is everything and the Ann Arbor Art Center seeks to bring together artists of all backgrounds to create a dynamic community with this program.  The Studio Artist program offers shared workspace and storage to professional artists as well as additional studio time to serious students who want to develop their skills.   The Studio Artist program is intended for artists who have a firm understanding of their medium, studio equipment and materials. Shared use of our studios is available for 2-D, clay and jewelry artists. This program is designed to allow artists to work in a creative environment which fosters individual expression, artistic growth and a sense of community.
