There is always so much going on at the Art Center and this summer is no exception. Besides the regular classes, art camps, and exhibitions, there are so many other opportunities for you to enjoy an art-related activity. We’re happy to announce that we are bringing ARTBUS back and will be taking a trip to Midtown Detroit on August 18th for a day of exclusive tours and experiences at some of the premier galleries in Midtown.
Thanks to a grant received from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, we were able to take our monthly pop-up art show (Straight Up) on-the-road to different locations around Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. The final one in the Straight Up Summer Fling series is on August 29 at the beautiful Leon Loft space. Lastly, save the date for Art & Brew 2018! It will be Thursday, October 4 throughout downtown Ann Arbor and if it’s anything like last year’s event, it will be a great time! As you can tell, it’s going to be a busy summer and fall around here. Keep us in mind as you plan out your next couple months – we’d love to see you!
