Please review our 2022 A2AC Art Camps Covid-19 policy below. We thank our camp families for supporting our program as we continue to navigate the return of in-person camps.
All campers and camp staff are required to wear a mask while indoors, except when eating or drinking.
Masks are not required outdoors.
*The play yard we use is privately owned and retains the right to update their masking policies as it relates to usage of their space at any time.
All camp staff and A2AC year-round staff are required to be vaccinated. Students attending camp are not required to be vaccinated.
Each camp group will eat lunch and spend snack time in their individual studio. (We do not have access to an outdoor lunch area this year.)
There will not be a Friday Camper Art Show. On Friday, each group will spend the end of the day celebrating their efforts and sharing their amazing artwork with each other. Pick-up will take place at the normal time (4:00 pm – 4:15 pm). Creativity Camp students will bring home all of their artwork at that time and Clay Camp projects will stay to be processed.
So that families can share in our students’ many great art accomplishments over the week, we will be posting photos from each camp week on our website by Tuesday of the following week. (Photos will include only those students with a signed photo waiver.) View photos here.
There will be no Pre or Post-Camp Care for the 2022 camp season.
Covid-19 policies listed here are specific to the unique needs and concerns of our camp program.
- Our camp program is an essential form of childcare for many families.
- We rely on a small group of core staff members who are specifically trained to work within our camp program.
- Our camp is best experienced through regular attendance.
Our camp Covid-19 mitigation policies are in place to help ensure the health of participants and the continuity of our summer program and staffing levels, so that we may do our best to provide an un-interrupted, amazing art experience for all of our campers!
The A2AC has public spaces and a variety of programming which may observe a different protocol.
