Sometimes inspiration is just around the corner, or in this case, under the sea! Dive in as we give special attention to the patterns, textures, shapes, and colors found in sea creatures and incorporate them into our artwork.
Week 8: Food for Thought | August 13 – August 17
Let’s take a close look at one of the most popular subjects in art: FOOD! Whether it’s still life drawings, pop art prints, or paintings of cakes by Wayne Thiebaud, food has been used in art around the world and through the ages.
Week 9: Super Sculptors | August 20 – August 24
Get ready to create a series of fun and stunning sculptures as we experiment with a wide variety of materials and learn to use them in innovative ways. Campers will experiment with form, function, balance, scale, and proportion.
