DESCRIPTION:The A2AC Shop is excited to announce our Holiday Ornament Open Call! We’re seeking original\, handcrafted ornaments from artists to feature in our annual A2AC Holiday Shop. \n\n\n\nImaginative ornaments in all styles and mediums are welcome. Whether you work in ceramics\, textiles\, wood\, paper\, or something unique\, we want you to apply! \n\n\n\nWhat We’re Looking For: \n\n\n\n\nHandcrafted ornaments in all styles and mediums (ceramic\, wood\, textile\, glass\, paper\, mixed media\, etc.)\n\n\n\nFestive\, winter-themed\, or decorative pieces that can hang on a tree or display\n\n\n\nAffordable price points: under $40 is ideal\n\n\n\n\nDeadline to Submit: September 6th\, 2025 \n\n\n\nArtists Selection: September 15th\, 2025 \n\n\n\nArtwork Drop-off: October 13th-17th\, 2025 \n\n\n\nCelebrate the season with us—share your art\, spread some cheer\, and help make this year’s holidays more artistic!  \n\n\n\nQuestions? DESCRIPTION:Divine your own artistic aura at this spiritual sidewalk drop-in! \n\n\n\nAuras have long been captured in photos\, and now you can intuit and create your own at the Ann Arbor Art Center. Each unique aura reading will consist of two components: the aura and YOU! One of our talented printmakers will help you create your aura by having you blindly choose a print shape and color(s) to be pressed upon cardstock. Next\, a skilled sketch artist will capture you\, your energy\, and personality in a quick sketch. The whole process takes less than 15 minutes\, and you will leave with a beautiful\, one-of-a-kind aura self-portrait. \n\n\n\nStop and visit us along your Saturday night stroll and make a memory beautiful enough to be framed!
