The Ann Arbor Art Center is committed to providing accessible opportunities for artists to explore, experiment and grow their creative practice at every stage of their careers.

Exhibit

Our exhibitions program seeks to support both emerging and established artists. If you are interested in submitting, entering or proposing, please see our page for artists interested in exhibiting at the Ann Arbor Art Center. Also make sure to subscribe for our artists’ mailing list

Sell

The 117 Gallery Shop showcases a wide range of original artwork by local and regional artits. We review submissions on a rolling basis with our team and exhibitions and gallery shop committees. Visit this page for more information and instructions on how to submit your work for consideration.

Teach

We are always on the look out for talented artists with a passion for sharing their knowledge with others. Visit this page for more information and a link to an instructor application form.

Curate

Emerging, mid-career and established artists/curators are encouraged to submit their proposals for consideration. Proposals are reviewed on a rolling-basis by our Exhibitions committee that includes A2AC staff, local artists, curators, educators and business professionals. To submit simply fill out the proposal form here.

Make

We strive to offer artists of all levels the opportunity to engage and create. Through workshops, classes and open studio opportunities the art center is a place for makers. Our classes run on 8-week terms during all four seasons. Our programming includes classes in ceramics, jewelry & metalsmithing, drawing, and painting, among others.
