- Two options to choose from: Creativity camp for children ages 5-12, or Clay camp for children ages 9-12

CREATIVITY CAMPS: AGES 5-12
Each day, our Creativity Camps are packed with fun and challenging activities that balance learning and play. Campers may experiment with a variety of mediums such as graphite, paint, pastels, charcoal, watercolor, sculptural materials, and more. We encourage campers to take what they’ve learned and apply it to outside-the-box projects. Past projects have included: painting cars, making giant animal balloon sculptures, creating anamorphic sidewalk chalk drawings, casting pewter keychains, and much more!
Summer Creativity Camp Week 1 | June 26 - June 30
Let’s go wild this week as we sink our teeth into some incredible animal art and then let our imaginations loose to create fantastical beasts.
Summer Creativity Camp Week 2 | July 5 - July 7
Back by popular demand, we are very excited to announce the 3rd Annual Incredible Art Challenge! Are you looking for a change of pace, something a little wild, new, and exciting that requires a lot of ingenuity? This is the week for you!
Summer Creativity Camp Week 3 | July 10 - July 14
What would the world look like if you were the size of a bug? What if New York City was the size of a postage stamp? How do you make something big look small and something small look big? .
Summer Creativity Camp Week 4 | July 17 - July 21
Life would be boring if we always did things the same way. Get ready to use a little innovation and ingenuinity to take our art to the next level. What are some modern tools that we can use to make art? How can we make art that moves, lights up, pops up, creates an illusion, etc?
Summer Creativity Camp Week 5 | July 24 - July 28
Heroes and villains, action and adventure! Learn the secrets to creating visually compelling characters and how to make comics effectively and dynamically communicate a story through pictures.
Summer Creativity Camp Week 6 | July 31 - August 4
This week is sure to be EPIC as we embark on a quest to explore the far reaches of medieval art and its many fabulous and ornate treasures. SPECIAL GUEST David Zinn will be here!
Summer Creativity Camp Week 7 | August 7 - August 11
This week will really take shape as we fabricate stunning sculptures, giving thoughtful consideration to form, balance, and proportions, as well as learn special drawing techniques to make two dimensional art work appear three dimensional.
Summer Creativity Camp Week 8 | August 14 - August 18
Buckle your seatbelts and prepare for an explosion of color! Learn new ways to use color in the form of paint, pastels, and more to create spectacular works of art.
Summer Creativity Camp Week 9 | August 21 - August 25
Have you ever marveled at amazing storybook illustrations or let your mind run away with you as you read wondrous tales? We'll be up to our eyes in fun this week as we let loose our imaginations and create artwork inspired by famous books & their illustrations.
Summer Creativity Camp Week 10 | August 28 - September 1
If you love to draw, sculpt, and think outside-the-box, then you may be a designer at heart! Get ready to explore a variety of different design fields as we tackle a number of challenging 2-D and 3-D projects.
CLAY CAMPS: AGES 9-12
Our Clay Camp curriculum is designed to teach the skills of pottery and to encourage the exploration of clay as a material for design, sculpture, and expression. Each week, campers learn to throw on the wheel in the mornings. In the afternoons, campers learn a variety of handbuilding techniques to create stunning sculptures, tiles, or functional items. NOTE: Due to the short week during the 4th of July, WEEK 2: 3-Day Handbuilding Mini-Camp (July 5-7) will feature handbuilding projects only.

Let your imagination run wild as we venture into unknown lands filled with amazing animals and magical beasts. Join us as we find inspiration in the vibrant colors, exotic patterns, and unusual shapes found in the creatures around us.

Rev up your engines as we launch into a series of outside-the-box projects that will test our creativity and brain power.
Summer Clay Camp Week 3 | July 10 - July 14
Let’s get a little crazy and experiment with scale and proportion as we learn how to plan ahead, balance forms, and refine hand-building techniques. .
Summer Clay Camp Week 4 | July 17 - July 21
Let's set sail on an adventure to discover and experiment with modern tricks or tools that can be used to aid in the process of creating clay masterpieces!
Summer Clay Camp Week 5 | July 24 - July 28
Give your sculptures plenty of personality this week as we explore the art of character design. Campers will try their hand at making fantastic characters and more
Summer Clay Camp Week 6 | July 31 - August 4
Join us as we journey back to medieval times and create a series of treasured projects inspired by artwork of that era!
Summer Clay Camp Week 7 | August 7 - August 11
Have you ever wondered what a drawing or painting of something would look like if it were 3-D? You are in luck! This week campers will learn how to transform 2-dimensional works of art into awesome 3-dimensional sculptures or vice versa
Summer Clay Camp Week 8 | August 14 - August 18
Turn your “blank canvasses” into masterpieces as you learn a variety of clever tricks and techniques to create innovative and captivating surface designs on your clay projects.
Summer Clay Camp Week 9 | August 21 - August 25
This week will be one for the books as we find inspiration in our all-time favorite stories. Campers will let their imaginations lead the way

One of the greatest challenges designers and makers of all sorts face is how to balance form with function. What things do we need to consider as we set out to create objects that are both visually appealing and that effectively serve a purpose?
