Located in the historic Walker Building in the heart of downtown the Ann Arbor Art Center is a unique venue to host your next private event. From intimate gatherings to mid-size celebrations, the Art Center is the perfect event space in Ann Arbor for any occasion including bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, small to medium size wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate training events, holiday parties, Bar and Bat Mitzvah’s, high school reunions and more.
Surrounded by art, we offer four unique spaces, each a different canvas for a one of a kind experience.
Studios may be rented separately or together to accommodate your event requirements. Tables, chairs and Edison lights are available to rent for an additional fee. Capacities will depend on your layout and what studio(s) you rent. All of our rental spaces are ADA accessible.

Located on the second of the Art Center, 117 Gallery is a hybrid studio/gallery space that boasts white walls, wood floors and a wall of windows that overlooks Liberty St. This venue gets plenty of natural light and can accommodate up to 75 seated guests or 90 guests for a stolling event. Art can be installed for your event for an additional fee.
Historic studio space on our third floor with brick walls, wood floors and sunny windows. This space is a functional classroom and is also great for smaller gatherings. It can accommodate up to 40 seated or 60 for strolling events. A pair of double doors allows one to easily add on the adjacent room, Studio 3, for additional space.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: The 50% deposit is based on the total facility rental fee at the time of booking is refundable up to 45 days prior to date of use. Client may cancel two weeks prior to the contracted date without incurring any additional costs, however, the initial 50% facility rental deposit will not be refunded. The entire contracted total will be billed to the credit card on file at the time of booking if cancellation occurs less than two weeks prior to the facility rental date.
