A2AC Scholarships

At A2AC, we believe that everyone, regardless of age, ability, or socioeconomic status, should have the opportunity to experience the transformational power of the visual arts. Thanks to many generous individuals, the A2AC is happy to provide scholarships to those in need.

A2AC Scholarships are awarded from the following funds:

Art for Everyone Scholarship Fund
Matthew J. Segal Scholarship Fund
McKenzie Butler Scholarship Fund
Roseann Hebeler Brown Scholarship Fund
Ypsilanti Student Summer Camp Scholarship

How to Apply

Individual Scholarship for a Class

  • Scholarships are available for youth, teens, and adults.
  • Applicants may apply for one class or workshop per year.
  • Terms include Spring, Summer, Fall, & Winter.
  • Multiple family members may apply.
  • The A2AC has a limited number of scholarships available. Eligibility does not guarantee a scholarship will be awarded.
  • Priority is given to students with families who experience the greatest financial need.
  • Many adult classes require additional supplies or materials that are not provided through the art center. All classes that require additional supplies can be found here.

The scholarship application for Fall Term will be posted August 16.

Applications are due by Monday, September 2 and applicants will receive a response by no later than Monday, September 12.
