Memberships


Becoming a member of the A2AC means being part of a community that supports the visual arts in Ann Arbor, and this year we are focused on strengthening that community to better serve you. A2AC Memberships help us keep visual art experiences—like A2AC Murals and A2AC Alleys—free for all; provide art education scholarships to youth, adults, and families to enjoy classes, camps, and workshops; and support the ArtBox: Outreach program, giving art supplies to individuals throughout Southeast Michigan.

The A2AC is a 501c3 non-profit organization, which means your membership is 100% tax deductible!

Basic Memberships

Basic-level memberships are for those starting or continuing their visual arts voyage. Our basic members can take advantage of early access to class registration and events, special discounts during midnight madness and a call for entries discount exclusively available for artists.

Sustaining Memberships

Sustaining-level memberships open doors for those with a special interest in visual art, offering more access to the A2AC’s exceptional programs. Our sustaining members enjoy invitations to tours, first access to purchase work from the exhibitions, and preview receptions with the executive director, gallery director, and curators. 

Artist ($35/annually)

Benefits for one:

  • Call for Entries Discount ($5/per submission)
  • Member discount in the A2AC Shop during Midnight Madness
  • Invitation to member events (up to 2x annually, beginning in 2023)
  • Early access to class registration and event tickets (excluding Youth Art Camps and Workshop Seasons)

Individual ($50/annually)

Benefits for one:

  • Member discount in the A2AC Shop during Midnight Madness
  • Invitation to member events (up to 2x annually, beginning in 2023)
  • Early access to class registration and event tickets (excluding Youth Art Camps and Workshop Seasons)

Household ($100/annually)

Individual-level benefits for two adults and all children under 18 in the same household (excluding Youth Art Camps and Workshop Seasons)

Patron ($250/annually)

Household-level benefits (excluding Youth Art Camps & Workshop Seasons), plus:

  • Access to purchase exhibition artwork before it’s available to the public
  • Invitation to member-only receptions with the gallery director or curator starting in the 2023 Exhibition Season

Advocate ($500/annually)

Patron-level benefits (excluding Youth Art Camps & Workshop Seasons), plus:

  • 5% discount on the purchase of one exhibition piece in 12 months
  • Recognition on the A2AC’s website

Collector ($1000/annually)

Advocate-level benefits (excluding Youth Art Camps and Workshop Seasons), plus:

  • An invitation for drinks (coffee, tea, cocktails) and an exhibition tour (or Murals) with the executive director, gallery director, or lead curator.
