Gracing the west-facing wall of the historic Pretzel Bell Building at 120 East Liberty Street, the mural is the creation of Detroit-based artist Jesse Kassel.

This mural was commissioned by the Ann Arbor Art Center’s Art in Public Initiative on behalf of Shaffran Companies, Ltd. The project was made possible by the generous support of Shaffran Companies, the Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority, and contributions from private donors who are passionate about public art in Ann Arbor.
