UPCOMING MINI-WINTER ART CAMPS

Creative Countdown Winter Art Camp
Ages 5-9
December 29-31, 2025
Times: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Kick off 2026 with a blast of imagination! During the Creative Countdown Winter Art Camp, campers will celebrate the season through hands-on projects, sparkly crafts, and festive fun. Campers will learn techniques developed by famous artists and apply them to their own projects such as:
- Paint frozen castles and landscapes inspired by artist Alma Thomas
- Design and craft a festive NYE hat
- Learn oil pastel techniques to create fireworks and landscapes
About A2AC Creativity Camps
Our Creativity Camps are packed daily with fun and challenging activities that balance learning and play. Campers may experiment with various mediums such as graphite, paint, pastels, charcoal, watercolor, sculptural materials, and more. Although we provide a lot of traditional art instruction, we encourage campers to take what they’ve learned and apply it to outside-the-box projects.

3-Day Handbuilding-Only Clay Camp:
Sculpting a New Year
Ages 9-12
December 29-31, 2025
Times: 9:00am – 4:00pm
We can’t wait to welcome the New Year with a special handbuilding-only 3-day camp. Campers will celebrate ringing in the new year as they:
- Design a wish or resolution box
- Sculpt a snowflake votive
- Build a pinch pot snowman
Due to the 3-day timeframe all projects will use handbuilding construction methods. Campers will not be throwing on the pottery wheel.
About A2AC Clay Camps
Our Clay Camp curriculum is designed to teach pottery skills and to encourage the exploration of clay as a material for design, sculpture, and expression. Each week, campers learn to throw on the wheel in the mornings. Campers learn various hand-building techniques to create stunning sculptures, tiles, or functional items in the afternoons.
