Prepare for a week of epic challenges! We will try new surface decoration techniques and stretch our abilities on the wheel. We will also go BIG and create sculptures that will teach us how to plan ahead, balance forms, and refine our hand building techniques.
Campers will:
- Create the tallest or widest form possible on the wheel. Work towards your own personal record.
- Use hard-slab construction techniques to build a box in an unusual shape
- Decorate a project using monoprinting techniques. YES! You really can use printmaking techniques on clay!
PLEASE NOTE: Campers are divided into groups based on the age they will be or turn during the week of camp they are attending. We do not make exceptions to the age minimums for each group nor for birthdays that fall after the end of the camp week.
