The first time I ever entered a juried exhibition was at the Art Center in 1979. As I continue my work as both an artist and a designer at General Motors, I am grateful for the support that this important local institution has had on my life.

Classes and Workshops are added throughout the term
There's something for eveyone! Daytime, evening, weekend and after school options to suit your schedules. Workshops are held weekly throughout the term at the University of Michigan Museum of Art. Browse the UMMA schedule or find out more about classes at the Art Center.
The Art Center receives $6,000 from Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.
The money will be used to fund our exhibitions program so that we can continue to provide an outstanding venue for artists to share their work with the community. It also ensures that all exhibitions are FREE to the public. Learn more about how you can support the Art Center!
