Located in the historic Walker Building in the heart of downtown the Ann Arbor Art Center is a unique venue to host your next private event. From intimate gatherings to mid-size celebrations the Art Center is perfect for any occasion including bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, small to medium size weddings ceremonies and receptions, corporate training events, holiday parties, high school reunions, Bar and Bat Mitzvah’s, tailgate parties and more.

Surrounded by art, we offer two unique spaces, each a different canvas for a one of kind experience. The 117 Gallery on the second floor of the Art Center (as seen above) features eight art exhibitions annually showcasing both local and national artists adding to the excitement and décor of your event, as well as Studio 3 and 5 located on the third floor with a “New York Loft” vibe of exposed brick-walls, wood floors and high ceilings. Studio 3 and Studio 5 may be rented separately or together to accommodate your event requirements. Together the 117 Gallery and Studios 3 & 5 will accommodate up to 75 guests per *floor based on set-up and rental pricing starts at $350.

*while these floors can hold up to 75 per floor, we recommend no more than 100 total if you are going to be utilizing both floors

"We've planned hundreds of weddings throughout the State of Michigan, and I can say without hesitation that the Ann Arbor Art Center has been one of the best places we've ever planned an event. Going into it I was certain that they wouldn't be supportive and allow us to take risks (most venues aren't and would rather do the same event time and time again), but I don't know why I thought that. They believe in the arts! The art of design, the art of creativity, the art of wonder, and the art of entertainment! It is for this reason we were able to design and execute the type of event that brought our clients to tears, and their guests to a point of total amazement. Thank you, Ann Arbor Art Center. Not only is your space a perfect blank canvas in which to create, but your staff went above and beyond for us. We really cannot thank you enough!- Alison Laesser-Keck and Bryan Keck, VLD Events
