ART NOW 2019: PAINTING

February 15 - March 16, 2019

Juror: Roula David

JOIN US FOR THE OPENING PARTY

Friday, February 15 from 6-9pm

Each year, on a rotating basis, the Art Center presents a media-focused exhibition as part of our Art Now series. This year's fifth annual exhibit features innovative work in painting.

This exhibition will highlight artists that employ traditional painting techniques, as well as artists who move across disciplines and push the boundaries of what defines contemporary painting, including through the application of hybrid processes and use of mixed media.

Art Now: Painting is characterized by its inclusiveness of genres, styles, aesthetics, concepts, materials, and processes. Since contemporary painting is often tightly integrated with other art forms, submissions are accepted in ANY medium.
