Megan Winkel, a recent graduate from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Arts Management and Art History, comes to us from the Detroit Artists Market and the Detroit Institute of Arts. Megan is the Director of the Gallery which includes both the 117 Gallery Shop and the 117 Gallery for exhibition. She brings to the Art Center excellent artist relations and a great eye for art and art presentation.
Morgan Barrie, also an Eastern Michigan University graduate with her MFA in Photography, joins the team working directly for Megan Winkel as the Exhibition's Coordinator of the 117 Gallery, and will lead exhibition programming for the Art Center. Morgan has the unique distinction of being our first place winner of the 2013 All Media Exhibition.
